The mission of the Medical Reserve Corps is to improve the health and safety of communities across the country by organizing volunteers to supplement existing emergency response resources when public health is threatened.
The Rensselaer County Healthcare Coalition meets quarterly to discuss public health preparedness and emergency response within the county and across agencies.
