NEW RENSSELAER COUNTY DMV SATELLITE TO OFFICIALLY OPEN ON THURSDAY (TOMORROW), COUNTY EXECUTIVE STEVE MCLAUGHLIN AND COUNTY CLERK FRANK MEROLA ANNOUNCE
The new DMV satellite office at the new Rensselaer County offices at 99 Troy Road in East Greenbush will officially open TOMORROW, Thursday, March 23, County Executive Steve McLaughlin and County Clerk Frank Merola announced.
The ribbon-cutting for the new DMV will be held at 11 a.m. TOMORROW on the first floor at the 99 Troy Road offices.
The new satellite DMV will accompany the main DMV location at the County Office Building in downtown Troy. County leaders said they expect the new satellite will increase use of the two DMVs.
The new DMV satellite office at 99 Troy Road consolidates two former satellite offices formerly operated at the Schodack and East Greenbush town halls. The new satellite DMV will offer expanded hours and more services, including testing for CDL and enhanced licensing.
During the past several days, county personnel have been holding a soft opening at 99 Troy Road. The county is still waiting for installation of the state’s Real ID and enhanced licensing.
